About Michele V. Sparkman

Michele Sparkman serves as "of-counsel" for the firm. Ms. Sparkman assists clients with a broad range of matters, including incorporating nonprofit organizations, drafting corporate governance documents, applying for recognition of tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service, and applying for exemption from state franchise, sales, and property taxes. Ms. Sparkman has experience drafting employee handbooks and employee agreements, including at-will employment and separation agreements. She has counseled a variety of tax-exempt organizations, including public charities, business leagues, churches, and religious organizations.

Michele Sparkman joined Anthony & Middlebrook, P.C., as an associate in 2008. Before joining the firm, she clerked for the Honorable Bob McCoy of the Second District Court of Appeals in Fort Worth, Texas.
