About David Royse Joe

David Royse Joe’s practice consists primarily of civil litigation concentrating in employment law. Mr. Joe has practiced continuously in the area of nonprofit corporate law since joining the Firm, handling a wide range of issues affecting charitable organizations and their employees.

Within the field of nonprofit law, Mr. Joe has counseled, advised, and co-counseled clients (both nationally and in-country internationally) on a wide range of issues from governance to visa procurement, including representation before state and federal agencies as well as several governmental agencies abroad.

Mr. Joe’s litigation practice has included lead and joint-counsel roles in both corporate defense and individual plaintiff representation in the areas of employment, related civil rights litigation, commercial disputes, debt, and various personal injury claims. He has successfully obtained and enforced judgments and numerous favorable settlements, and has prevailed in defending a trial court ruling all the way to the Texas Supreme Court. Mr. Joe’s practice also regularly includes arbitration proceedings and mediation.
